The ALEA  Advanced Non-Impact Subject Control course is highly requested by officers who have had problems with controlling aggressive subjects with previously taught stand-up controls, takedowns, impact and pressure point based tactics.  Officers are taught to handle a stand-up  sudden violent attack from punching to tackles.    This course also teaches the single and multiple officers how to engage and get control over a suspect who is either passively or actively resisting / aggressing them. Officers learn how to control aggression from both the escort and handcuffing positions without depending on impact or pressure point control.   This Advanced course teaches officers about the reactionary gap and how to prepare for a sudden violent attack through proper use of distance, balance, hand positions and identifying suspect cues prior to attack.
